“Leyenda de Mexico” (Legend of Mexico) tequila is owned by awarded master distiller Melly Barajas. She is the master distiller behind it and of the nearly 140 tequila distilleries in Mexico, hers is the only one that’s led and operated solely by women. Her Tequilas are organic where she does not adding any chemicals, has an artisanal production process and is a socially conscious distillery in the highlands of Jalisco to mention a few key points.
